INBOUND 2015: Quick List Of Restaurants To Try In Boston

BACK TO ARTICLES

All of the restaurants on this list received a average review rating of 4 or better on Yelp (we rounded up for some).

Our research team has gone to great lengths to ensure you don't miss out on the Boston food experience during the INBOUND conference this year. We've compiled a list of restaurants in Boston and mapped out the walking distance of each establishment from the Boston Conference and Exhibition Center where INBOUND will be held and where many conference attendees will be staying.

Most of the restaurants listed here offer a smattering of dairy-free, grain-free options, with sometimes organic meats, but don’t count on it being grass-fed. Some have amazing gluten-free offerings, if you choose to swing that way. These restaurants have been chosen based on their ability to meet a range of dietary requirements and preferences.

Sportello

1AWT-Location  0.5 mi, 9 min walk

Gluten-free Italian food... exists?! It does, and apparently, it's incredible. Sportello is Italian for “counter service” and their pride is serving fine, Italian food. This doesn't always include pasta, however, as there are plenty of grain-free entrees available. It's definitely on the fancier side at around $25 per plate, and you should probably make a reservation if you plan on going for dinner. They have gluten-free rolls, handmade gluten-free pasta, gluten-free biscuits, the works.
Really Great For: Gluten-free, Vegetarian, Paleo
Not So Great For: Vegan, Low Carb

Pastoral

1AWT-Location  0.5 mi, 10 min walk

Apparently they have some super legit, actually really good gluten-free pizza crusts, which is like finding a rare unicorn to the gluten-free eater. If you're going to step outside paleo and enjoy some pizza, without suffering the aftermath of gluten consumption, this would be the place to go and indulge. Bonus: they're open till 2 AM!

This unique Asian fusion restaurant has a special "Lunch To Go" menu and an option for online ordering! Apparently they make some really awesome fried chicken (gluten-free available), too.

You're going to Boston, so you have to try the seafood. This is the perfect place for all dieters to indulge in the Boston lobster and seafood experience. They have some amazing views, too.
Bonus:
Anything that is fried can be made gluten-free. They have an extended gluten-free menu offering gluten-free dinner rolls, gluten-free clam chowder, gluten-free fish and chips, and the list goes on.

Sweetgreen

1AWT-Location  0.5 mi, 10 min walk

We can see Sweetgreen being a popular go-to after a long day at INBOUND. It's one of the closest options to the convention center and one of the quickest.

Not So Great For: Salad Haters

Toro

1AWT-Location  2.3 mi, 47 min walk (we don't recommend walking)

Like P.F. Chang's, this particular restaurant is not convenient to the convention center, but is an amazing choice for conference goers having dinner out on the town. Angus Beef Heart. Need we say more?
Really Great For: Paleo, Gluten-Free, Vegetarian, Grain-Free, Low Carb
Not So Great For: Vegans

Freshii

1AWT-Location  0.9 mi, 19 min walk

A lot like Sweet Green, only a bit farther away. We felt it still deserved a special mention because of it's highly customizable menu and really detailed nutrition information. For anyone looking to keep up with a precise calorie intake or maintain certain macro proportions, this place will be a must. Listed on their downloadable menu is the nutrition information for all of their dishes, including juices, smoothies, sauces, and sides. The menu is clearly annotated with allergy information too.
Really Great For: Gluten-free, Vegan, Grain-free, Paleo, Low Carb, Vegetarian
Not So Great For: Junk Food Lovers

P.F. Chang's

1AWT-Location  1.4 mi, 28 min walk

While it may not be the most adventurous option, P.F. Chang's will not let you down when it comes to providing palatable gluten-free and vegetarian lunch and dinner entrees. This particular location is a bit of a trek if you're considering walking from the conference, but it is a good choice if you find yourself in that part of town or happen to being staying near the Back Bay area.
Really Great For: Gluten-free, Vegetarian
Not So Great For: Paleo, Grain-free
