5 Things to Watch For at Inbound 2015

5 Things to Watch For at Inbound15Are you ready for Inbound 2015? If you haven’t registered yet, you should do so ASAP to take advantage of some pretty generous discounts.

Otherwise, you may miss out on the year’s best inbound marketing event, which will see more than 10,000 people converge to enjoy over 170 sessions and six amazing keynote speakers.

Whether you still need convincing or are attending, but haven’t been before, here are five things you’ll want to watch at Inbound 2015.

1. Seth Godin

Inbound15 is going to have some amazing speakers. The co-founders of HubSpot will be there, as well as David Pink, plus some great thought leaders presiding over the smaller sessions. However, back in February, Inbound 2015 announced that Seth Godin would be on stage. In our industry, it doesn’t get much bigger than Godin. Any conference dealing with the world of ecommerce would be smart to have him.

Aside from founding Squidoo, Godin is known for being a bestselling author with 17 titles to his name. He recently proved just how innovative he could be, though, when he decided to self-publish his last four (his latest being The Icarus Deception) by starting a Kickstarter campaign. Not only did he hit his goal, he did it in just three hours, becoming the most successful author to ever raise funds this way.

2. Networking Galore

In case you missed it, there will be 10,000 people at this event. 10,000! While a lot of really great stuff will be happening on stage, do not forget your business cards. This will be one of the year’s best events for shaking hands, making connections and possibly starting new ventures. There will be an Inbound Happy Hour every day of the conference, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to get to know your fellow attendees.

3. HubSpot Sessions

Everyone knows HubSpot makes some of the best solutions for inbound marketers. Even the free stuff they provide on their site is heads above a lot of what you could pay for in terms of training.  Whether you’re currently using HubSpot software or would love the opportunity to learn more, Inbound 2015 will feature a Grow with HubSpot session you should definitely think about attending.

You’ll see firsthand how their platforms work via demos, so even if you already use the software, it’s worth seeing how you could better optimize it. They’ll also be presenting case studies that should both inspire and educate.

4. Executive Track

Another session to keep your eye on will be the executive track. It’s aimed at those who are in executive roles at businesses utilizing inbound marketing. While most sessions should be a good fit for just about anyone, the organizers at Inbound 2015 wanted to make sure they made time for those who are in particularly demanding positions. It’s easy to forget that making it to the top of the ladder comes with a lot of added responsibilities too. This session will feature some C-level experts on not just what their current role entails, but how they believe it will evolve in the future.

5. Inbound Rocks

After three days of speakers, sessions and networking, you deserve a bit of fun. While the happy hours provided should give you a chance to unwind, Inbound Rocks will definitely encourage you to let loose.

Although they haven’t announced the artist or band yet, in the past they featured One Republic, so it should definitely be a good time worth checking out before the last and final day. Inbound 2015 is shaping up to be everything the organizers promised and then some. Aside from these five great features, there should be plenty more to look forward to enjoying.
