HubSpot Pricing: How to Choose the Right Package

HubSpot Pricing: How to Choose the Right PackageIf you’re looking for help with your inbound marketing needs, there are a number of ways you could go. However, if you want to get as close as you can to a sure thing, it would make sense to choose one of the plans offered by HubSpot.

For almost 10 years now, the company has been the king of the hill where digital marketing is concerned, and there are no signs that will be changing any time soon.

Of course, with three plans to choose from, you’ll want to be sure you make the right choice, both for your budget and your company’s needs.

Basic: $200/a month (plus $600 onboarding fee)

One look at the basic plan and you may immediately think it’s the correct choice for your small business, especially if you’re the sole employee. The name pretty much says it all and with 100 contacts included, it most likely fits your needs like a glove.

However, it will only support 3,000 site visits a month, meaning many businesses may be too successful for this plan. While you can add contacts, you’ll pay $100 for every 1,000. Also, you only get one subdomain included. Another restriction to consider is only 1,000 emails per month.

Just because you have a small business doesn’t mean this is 100% the right package for you, but there’s a good chance it could be.

Professional: $800/a month (plus $3,000 onboarding fee)

The professional plan should work for most businesses out there. It gives you 1,000 contacts for the monthly price and adding 1,000 more is just $50. There’s also no user or site visits per month limit to worry about, so you can run wild with your traffic-generating strategies. You can send 10 times the amount of your contact tier limit in emails every month too.

Smart calls-to-action are included, for example, as well as A/B testing to help confirm your best route. It also comes with an entire branch of marketing automation options you won’t get with the basic plan. Whether you have a sizable market at the moment or are trying to break into one, then, you may need the professional plan to do so.

Enterprise: $2,400/a month (plus $5,000 onboarding fee)

Finally, for all the bells and whistles, there’s the enterprise package. Obviously, this is not the one to go with if your company is a one-man show or just getting started and strapped for cash.

HubSpot will support 10,000 contacts with this package and you’ll pay just $10 to add 1,000 more. There is no limit to your users or site visits, like with the professional package, but there are also unlimited subdomains as well.

Where this package truly shines is the near-endless amount of features it provides. A robust analytics branch means you’ll get everything custom reporting for your analytics. That’s just one way this option will save you time though. Event-based automation triggers will help too, as will revenue reporting features.

Fortunately, HubSpot offers a free trial of their professional plan. After 30 days, you can choose which one is right for you. Just keep track of which services you think you’ll need going forward.

Also, remember that you get HubSpot Academy with any of these packages. This will provide you with a large degree of information you may currently not have at that moment.

The good news is that no matter which package you choose, HubSpot will not let you down. Still, review your options carefully so you’ll get one with the highest chance of truly helping you out.
